My name is Roger Poe. I am a graduate of the Comstock High School Class of 1970. In the last 40 years my 6 sons have also graduated from CHS. Last year I retired from more than 25 years of school employment. Prior to school employment I have worked in management for 2 major restaurant chains (Burger Chef and Burger King), and managed a family business for my Mom and Dad.
Even though we may graduate from school and our children finally graduate, the value and importance of our schools does not end. We need to continue to be concerned about quality, timely education for generations to come. I am running for a trustee position on the Comstock Board of Education. It is my desire to serve the community and participate in the process of insuring quality education for Comstock children both now and in the future.
